The system can be used to manage projects easily. It provides various facilities such as multiple level user logins, work assignment and progress evaluation sections, estimated and actual effort evaluation etc. The system also contains facilities to manage various teams, split a project into smaller modules, assign the modules to team members or to a whole team, manage team members’ daily activities etc. It also includes various reports such as individual effort report, project progress report, team report etc. NEG Micon   Client : NEG Micon - Chennai Industry : Summary : This is an online application which generates and displays reports based on the power generation details of wind turbines belonging to NEG Micon, to its customers.  All reports have been designed according to NegMicon's specifications. The website offers the advantage of customers being able to view the reports as soon as the data has been updated to the system. There is no delay in customers getting the reports, as in the case of mails, or even postal methods. The customers can create multiple users of their own, so that each new user can log in to view the reports. Since most of the customers are big firms, this is most important, as this facilitates allotment of different usernames and passwords to different personal for logging in. A notable feature is that most reports are available in the forms of graphs also. Taking printouts of both reports as well as graphs is possible for customers. The website also has the facility to alert NEG MICON on future periodical service schedules of the turbines. This helps them to arrange their schedules way in advance. Facility is also provided for management of assets, as well as for stock management (turbine spares). In addition to the reports being provided to NEG MICON's customers, various other reports are also available for NEG MICON's own use also. These features, along with the alerts provided, makes the website a sort of in-house information provider also.  Technical The website data can be updated by uploading the latest data files. Logging in, with a username and password, helps to maintain the security of the site.
